Hotel Bologna - Pisa

Great wi-fi made my stay enjoyable. The room was a bit too noisy for comfort.

Good food, well-appointed and brand-new room with TV, bathrooms, breakfast included offer. Freshly cooked breakfast, especially pancakes, fruit, bacon, bread and scrambled eggs❤😃

By and large, it was enchanting and delightful place with COURTEOUS staff at the reception desk. There were climate control and soundproof windows in the room, liked that. The location was great and brilliant - ease of access to Tuttomondo Mural.

It offers excellent services.

Homely small place with handy location near to train station, the center of Pisa, 700 m from rail station and parallel to the central shopping street Corso, and tower. Elegant king room, exceptionally comfortable beds.

It was surely a very good stay for one night.

Good internet, good breakfast, shuttle. wide bed for two. There is a kettle and sachets of tea and sugar. It's clean.

Windows in the yard, it was noisy, smells like kitchen, you can not open the window, hard bed.

It's cold in the room, even though the heating is on. Monotonous breakfast

The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the train station, and about a 10 minute walk from the tower and cathedral. At one time must have been splendid, however it's former grandeur has faded considerably.

It is close to both the train station and tower, easy walking distance, even with luggage. The rooms were fairly large by European standards. Breakfast is included with the room, and is a adequate continental affair. The hotel is also close to many restaurants, however most do not open until 7 to 7:30, so be prepared. There is a grocery store quite close for snacks, that we were able to purchase hot food from and made a 'room picnic' from. The rooms have air conditioning, and it works very well. Our room had a large supply of bath products.

As I stated the hotel is dated, and while not filthy, could definitely benefit from a good cleaning, especially the bathrooms, my shower had moldy grouting. The entire hotel needs a refresh, the color scheme is gold and orange, with a touch of green, very reminiscent of the 1970’s. The standard white on white hotel scheme would be much better. The beds were firm, and a bit uncomfortable, new pillow top mattresses would be nice. The linen should be updated, my bath towels had holes in the middle, the sheets and pillow cases were frayed. The bathrooms had been either remodeled or added in the early 1980’s by the looks of the furnishings, and could use a serious update. Our room had a tiny corner shower with moldy grouting. If the remodeled taking a bit of room from the sleeping area, a nice sized shower would be a wise investment. The furniture in the rooms is dated and a bit worse for wear, so I would consider replacing it with a neutral dark wood option.

I found the hotel to bevery comfy and tidy, with a fantastic central spot that put us just a few steps away from the bustling restaurants, shops, and the fine Botanical Gardens of Pisa where I enjoyed peaceful strolls among vibrant greenery.
